NanoMap-500LS Contact Surface Profilometer
The AEP Technology NanoMap-500LS is an advanced stylus contact surface profiler. This contact profilometer is able to generate high resolution 2D and 3D images. The system can acquire surface profiles by scanning the stage, like other conventional contact surface profilers, or by scanning the stylus over the surface with the stage stationary. This scanning tip surface profiler mode yields higher resolution and greater flexibility.
The NanoMap-500LS generates 2D and 3D images up to 150mm x 150mm scanning area. Our contact profilometer has superior repeatability and uses ultra low force that allows it to measure surface topography for any type of material. The system is ideal for surface metrology in both research and production environments.
The system has a full data analysis system powered by SPIP. The contact surface profiler software is intuitive, user friendly and has extensive libraries for surface analysis of various applications.
We also offer a standard contact surface profiler with just a scanning stage configuration, the NanoMap-LS.

1000WLI Non-Contact Optical Profilometer
The AEP Technology 1000WLI is a high resolution scanning white light interferometer, used to make non-contact optical surface images. The optical profilometer is one of the most highly accurate and easy to use optical metrology systems commercially available.
With the combination of high quality light source, lens, low instrument noise and software, our optical surface profiler is able to achieve more than 2 MILLION PIXEL images at 0.001nm resolution.
The 1000WLI optical profilometer is perfect for characterizing a variety of surface parameters such as surface roughness, dimensions, step height, film thickness and many more. All measurements are fast and non-contact based.

The AEP Technology NanoMap-D Contact & Optical Surface Profilometers in one system. Have you ever wondered which technique is best surface profiling – contact or non-contact profilometery? Both techniques have been used for 30 years, but one has not replaced the other, they are very complementary techniques, many times serving different surface metrology applications.
The NanoMap-D is the world’s only advanced universal surface profilometer, with both a 3D optical surface profiler and 3D scanning contact profiler on the same system.
